Changelog

This is where we document major new features, improvements, or changes in Reschematic. We update this page regularly so you can see how the platform is evolving.

New: Custom growth curves

September 1, 2025

You can now define custom growth curves for their "growth rate" assumptions. This new feature allows you to demonstrate powerfully realistic scenarios, such as the tapering of growth as a market reaches saturation.

New: Internal rate of return

August 27, 2025

Advanced users who are accustomed to evaluating the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of financial models can now enable IRR in model settings. What is IRR? It's the hypothetical discount rate at which the total value of your project would equal zero.

New: Extended reasoning

July 25, 2025

Max users can enable Extended reasoning when generating models. Extended reasoning gives Reschematic's AI additional time to consider the nuances of your modelling request and context, for more accurate assumptions and model dynamics. Models generated with extended reasoning are Reschematic's most powerful yet, typically requiring minimal user intervention to tell a cohesive story of value creation.

Improved: Model generation

July 25, 2025

Model generation has been completely overhauled. In one of the biggest updates to Reschematic since launch, models now require far less manual configuration at generation, especially on the Max tier.

Improved: Site layout and UI

July 7, 2025

A wide range of improvements have been added to the layout and user interface of the Reschematic website, including a more comprehensive Footer with enhanced site navigation and placeholders for upcoming pages. The app interface has not been changed.

New: Max plan launched

June 21, 2025

We introduced the Max plan, which uses OpenAI's latest AI model GPT-4.1, which features 4x more powerful AI on the backend. Why would you upgrade to this? For a lot of reasons! The new model is much more up to date, provides better sources for where it has obtained its data (something a lot of users had been asking for), and overall impresses with the nuance it is capable of. It's ideal for complex project evaluations and makes Reschematic faster than ever. We've passed a point where it feels absurb to go back to using spreadsheets for project evaluation.

New: Added the Changelog

June 16, 2025

We introduced the change log to demonstrate more openly how the platform is growing and improving. Not only can we look back with pride on how things are growing, you can see what new features are being added and made available to you over time. Hint: We're adding a lot!
